unable to disable send notification

After adding a send notification, with email - it appears to be
somewhat sticky.
No matter how I try there appears to be no way (from the UI) to
remove the notification through the job editor page - switching off
notify, or emptying the email box, un-checking the notify on - ...
they just quietly return.
I see this happening on 1.1.0 and 1.2.0

This appears fixed in 1.3 beta, when webhooks were added.

workaround is to empty the email box and leave it checked when updating, this will remove the notification
