Job names don't change in other jobs workflows when you change the job's name
Reported by Marc David Rovner | March 9th, 2012 @ 08:54 PM
- Issue Type: Bug
- Rundeck version: 1.4.2
Issue:
When I add "somejob" to "anotherjob"'s workflow, if I change "somejob"'s name, the name doesn't change in "anotherjob"'s workflow.
Guessing if job references were stored as UUIDs rather than text,
Reproduce:
1) Create a new saved job named "somejob" with some simple
workflow (maybe, "echo hello world")
2) Create another saved job named "anotherjob", with a a job
reference to "somejob"
3) Edit "somejob" and rename it to "renamedjob"
4) Go back to view "antoherjob" and see the workflow still
references "somejob", not "renamedjob"

yes, job references are stored by name, not ID.
we should update this to use UUID internally
