passwordless sudo shouldn't fail after the timeout value

Reported by Greg Schueler | February 21st, 2012 @ 08:57 AM | in Rundeck 1.4.3 (closed)

  • Rundeck version: 1.4.2

The sudo responder will fail with a timeout when no sudo password is prompted (no password needed), if there is not much output but the execution time exceeds the prompt timeout.

The default value of sudo-fail-on-prompt-timeout="true" should be changed to 'false'.

Essentially if the password prompt is not seen at all in the X lines or T timeout, it should be considered not needed.
