Job Reference points to wrong job

When a jobname/group is identical across projects, and a new job is created which contains a job reference to a job with a non-unique jobname/group, the job embedded in the workflow appears to based on the the job with the lowest numerical job ID, not the job which is displayed when using "Choose Job" via the GUI. Having the project name within a referenced job seems to have no effect.
