Exception on front page
Reported by Jordan Curzon | June 16th, 2011 @ 04:29 AM
When I first login to rundeck I get this exception in the node filter results area. I did move the installation to a new server, and so I know that it failed to find the node in the project resources, but in the code it looks like it's trying to get a message from an error object that doesn't exist.
Request:
/resources/nodesFragment?inlinepaging=true&project=Testing&declarenone=true&expanddetail=true&max=20&nodeIncludeName=REDACTED&page=0&fullresults=true&nodeExcludePrecedence=false&view=table

When I clear the filter, it returns the same exception too. Changing the resource.xml file to add the new hosts name doesn't fix it either.

So, the cause of this error message is when rundeck can't find the resources.xml file. I changed the install path on the new server, and although I fixed many paths, I didn't fix the paths in the project.properties file.

- State changed from new to wontfix
- Assigned user set to Greg Schueler
Workaround is to specify valid project.resources.file in project.properties.
This issue is not present in rundeck 1.4+, so marking as wontfix.
