  which tooltip boxes in particular? I would like to iron this out

  for most of them escape key or click anywhere on the page should also hide the tooltip display

  I see it on the jobs list page, such as: http://127.0.0.1:4440/jobs

  the esc key does not always close the window, although a second press will do the trick.

  clicking elsewhere has different delays for closure, behavior appears inconsistent between 1.1.0 and 1.2.0

  generally a user would expect moving mouse away from the job name to remove the extra info.

  In the job edit page, the tooltip for "Explain" to the right of workflow stays up
  after clicking or pressing escape.

  Seems reproducible by hovering, them moving mouse pointer to the left or having the job edit tooltip already visible then putting the mouse over it, otherwise it's fairly random - hovering and moving up removes the box.

  it appears the mouse moving from one hover-enabled area to another before the first box is removed may be bringing it back, or displaying both (I can't tell if it's both, one is hidden).

  Committing some fixes which address these issues:

  • escape key should work in all cases now to hide popups/tooltip bubbles
  • Job details popup closes faster after the mouse leaves the job name link, and other delays for showing/hiding the popup have been reduced.
  • changed the mouse over/out behavior for tooltips like the "Explain" info so it shouldn't be left on the page if the mouse is not over it

  Windows: IE 8, Firefox 3.x, Chrome 10
  Mac: Firefox 4, Chrome 11, Safari 5
