Allow Email Address substitution in notification recipients list
Reported by Nate Faerber | May 2nd, 2012 @ 07:21 PM
- Issue Type: Feature
- Rundeck version: 1.4.2.1
- JDK Version: sun 1.6.0_22
- Server OS: CentOS 5.8
- Install type: Yum-rpm
Issue:
Allow logged in user email address lookup/expansion in email notification.
Example:
notification:
onfailure:
recipients: tom@example.com,${execution.author.email},shirley@example.com
- If execution.author.email lookup returns no results or cannot be found for some reason, ignore it.
- If the only recipient address uses this lookup but the lookup fails for any reason, use framework default or don't email.
Please excuse my ignorance if execution.* isn't the correct variable root. I did a quick scanning of the code to look for this feature and found execution.author so I'm using that.
