What JDK version are you using?
I think this may be caused by differing JDK versions. The exception is due to the compiled class expecting java.lang.Exception to have 4 constructors, but seeing 5. There are only 4 in java 1.4-6, but there are 5 in Java 7.

I believe I was using 1.7 at the time.

I think this is an issue with using jdk 7 then. Changing description and marking #521 as a duplicate.
