Slow run of testcases

Attached is a web archive (for mac os x only...sorry) of the output.
The system.err file has a bunch of these:
log4j:ERROR Could not connect to remote log4j server at [test1]. We will try again later.
It takes about 12 minutes to run this job in particular.
