Issue:Feature

We are using rundeck 1.6.2-1 to automate our application deployment.

We have integrated Rundeck with our corporate LDAP for user authentication. For security purpose we have to configure rundeck to listen at SSL port 4443.

We also need to integrate jenkins with rundeck to achieve continuous integration and deployment, however during integration we found that rundeck plugin in jenkins can only listen to non-SSL port (4440) of rundeck.

As rundeck do not both SSL and non-SSL port at the same time, we are unable to integrate jenkins with rundeck. Please help us in resolving this issue

(For Rundeck GUI issues, please include the following:)

  • Client OS: (your OS name, version)
  • Client web browser: (your browser name, version)

Reproduce: (Describe steps to reproduce bug here.)

The Rundeck issue reported indicates a need for simultaneous SSL (4443) and non-SSL (4440) port listening, a feature absent in version 1.6.2-1. Integrating Jenkins requires the non-SSL port, while corporate security mandates SSL.
